What is Helsinki Think Company
Helsinki Think Company is the entrepreneurship community of the University of Helsinki. Our mission is to turn academics into concrete action and foster impactful entrepreneurship by organizing innovation programs, idea accelerators, hackathons, and workshops around universal phenomena that have an impact on the world on an environmental or societal level.
We bring together the industry and academia. We collaborate with corporations, startups, research institutions, cities, and ministries to tackle environmental and societal challenges.
We are an active and diverse community, consisting of entrepreneurs, researchers, students, and businesses – many of which were born from our programs. For our community, we offer co-working spaces, innovation programs, and entrepreneurial support & sparring.
In short, Helsinki Think Company has accelerated science-based multidisciplinary solutions for the past 10 years – from vegan ice cream to cancer treatments.
