With the Think Company Fund, we support promising early-stage companies that aim to create a positive impact. Apply for a grant to launch or grow your business, advance to the pitching final, and compete for your share of the funding. In 2026, a total of €6,000 will be awarded. Since 2015, the Think Company Fund has provided over €100,000 to support student entrepreneurship.

CASSINI Hackathon

CASSINI Hackathon

2025

Think Company was the local organiser of the 10th CASSINI Hackathon, that took place in 10 different locations across Europe simultaneously. During the challenge weekend, teams utilised EU space data to create innovative solutions tailored for consumers. They could choose between challenges in retail, gaming and travel.
ENVISION

ENVISION

2023

ENVISION was a design thinking mini-programme for doctoral researchers of the University. Participants developed concrete problems and solutions related to either Sustainable Everyday Life or Equal Opportunities.
Nest Hackathon

Nest Hackathon

2023

Nest Hackathon was a weekend challenge competition where professionals from different fields collaborated to create gamified solutions for sustainable housing. Nest was developed in partnership with DeCarbon-Home.

In the Circular Economy Sprint participants had a chance to dive into the world of green entrepreneurship. The programme focused on endorsing sustainable systemic change by encouraging new green business models.
Gam-e-quality

Gam-e-quality

Gam-e-quality was a hackathon where teams created solutions to inclusivity and accessibility challenges in the game industry and gaming communities.
Una.Together

Una.Together

2022

Una.Together was a seven-week online programme that brought together students from all over Europe. The programme seeked solutions to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in academic communities. Each Una Europa university introduced a current challenge that an international group of students created a solution for. The programme consisted of lectures, workshops and a final event streamed across Europe.
Kollaasi

Kollaasi

2022

Kollaasi was a weekend programme where people interested in the future of culture and art industries were brought together to create solutions to the structural challenges in the field. Teams tackled the issues with sustainable and creative practical solutions. Kollaasi was co-organized with The University of the Arts Helsinki.
Terkko Health X

Terkko Health X

2019—2023

Terkko Health X was a pre-incubator programme for health and life sciences targeted towards early stage teams with ambition to create impactful solutions that solve real healthcare problems. The programme provided the tools and experts to take teams' health and life science concepts into the market. Terkko Health X was co-organized by Terkko Health Hub.
Robot Uprising

Robot Uprising

2017—

Europe's biggest hands-on robotics challenge where gaming, puzzles and storytelling are all combined. Robot Uprising brings together people to programme, design and build robots to compete in epic arenas. Started from community members' initiative, Robot Uprising has later spun out to become its own volunteer-led community.
Mutiny

Mutiny

2018—2020

Mutiny was an accelerator programme for early-stage teams with a socially or environmentally impactful business idea. A chance to find mentors, funding, and break through!
